Vintage Italian Renaissance Revival Faience Floral Covered Sugar Bowl & Creamer. The renaissance Revival Rose pattern from the Barrettoni gia Antonibon pottery in Nove, Italy, a covered and handled sugar bowl, circa 1930s.
Scarce hand painted pieces in an overall floral decoration with a bright blue dash and dot border. The lid has a top knob formed as a pear with two green leaves. The double handles also show a dot and dash lining. Brightly glazed, the Rose floral pattern is distinctive to this type of Italian majolica ceramics.
Measures 5.5" W at the handles, x 4" W x 5". H. Marked: impressed Italy on base
In very good vintage condition. There is one minor chip on underrim of lid, nothing major, no cracks
